Game 3 results - 12/15/07

Lightning All-Stars played the Key Lightning 3rd grade team today. The game was tied at 3-3 before Key Lightning broke through in the last four minutes for two goals to win 5-3. Ethan, Nicholas, and Mateo each had a goal for Lightning All-Stars.

Game 2 results - 12/8/07

Lightning All-Stars lost 6-1 to ASF Lightning, another team laden with mostly 4th graders. Another good learning experience. Ben scored our lone goal.

Game 1 results - 12/1/07

The purpose of this blog is to track the season of the Lightning All-Stars, a group of players selected from the four Lightning U8 house teams, who are playing in the Arlington winter U10 house indoor league.

Key Lightning All-stars played against Arlington Optimist, a team with players two years older (and bigger!), including a U10 travel player. The kids played a great game, and were leading 3-2 early in the second half before succumbing by a 7-3 score. Mateo had two goals and Juan had one for the Lightning. Kudos to Dylan and Juan for great play as goalies. Kudos to everyone for great hustle and having fun out there!
